ABOUT US

Spendwood School of Dance and Gymnastics has been a part of the Waterford and Cohoes communities for almost 60 years. Now located in the historic Lyceum Building in Cohoes, NY, we continue our tradition of servicing your dance and gymnastics needs for all ages and all levels.

Spendwood has a long tradition of high professional standards, individual attention for every student, and trained teaching staff. Our teachers have trained in Boston and New York, and we continue to expand our knowledge and skill through professional development and master classes taught by New York City Broadway talent.

We pride ourselves on a cultivating positive, family atmosphere where all are welcomed to learn and explore through movement.

We have classes for children and adults, starting at age 18 months in the Parent/Tot Gymnastics classes. Dance classes start at age two. Dancers are placed with students of similar age and ability.
