Please click here for a Registration Form Please click here for Student Information All New Summer Dance Camp Let’s get pumped to DanceDanceDance and get our creative juices flowing! This class is geared towards dancers of all ages and levels of skill, and will focus on dancing as an art that extends beyond teacher-to-student instruction. Through choreography, media art, and musical interpretation exercises, dancers will be encouraged in an inviting setting to express their own personal movement styles to a variety of music genres. This class aims to provide dancers with the tools for evoking creative inspiration in order to take advantage of all dancing environments and classroom settings, and with the intention of promoting self-awareness and self-confidence in each individual’s talents. Improvisation, questions, and creative outbursts are always encouraged! No formal dance attire necessary, just dress comfortably and bring water! Dance ● Gymnastics ● Cheerleading Choose one or try them all, it is up to you. Classes for all ages, starting at 18 months old. Classes for boys and girls. All levels, even Competition Teams. Classes mornings, afternoons and evenings, 7 days a week. Beginner to advanced levels, in groups the same ages. We will find just the right classes for you and your family. Spendwood Cheerleading: We offer group, custom and private classes in Tumbling for Cheerleaders. Spendwood also provides spring floor gym rentals and is the home of Competition Cheerleading Teams. We have different all star teams to choose from, including: Mini, Youth, Junior, Seniors and Open. Call or e-mail for details. Family and multiple class discounts! Very reasonable rates, starting at $35 per month. Also, discounts for multiple classes and additional members of the same family. Also, viewing for all classes! With 5 studios and a full gymnasium all under one roof, we can maintain small classes and provide individual attention! We have classes for boys, classes for girls and combination classes! Other Specials: Birthday parties, field trips & team gym rentals available. Good for your health: Some carriers will now reimburse you for classes!			Spendwood's Mommy, Daddy and Me: It's a big hit! Dance classes and gymnastics classes where a parent goes into the class with the child, primarily for support, has become very popular for the 18 month to 3 year olds; both boys and girls. Summer Camps and Summer Classes: June, July & August. Full or Half Day Camps and hourly classes. Call about our early-bird discounts. Spendwood 6th Annual Charity Fundraiser: Nightmare Before Christmas, at the Cohoes Music Hall on December 6^th and 13th will be our 2009 show! Last years Holiday Magic was a big success! - We provided yet another opportunity for students to perform on stage at the Cohoes Music Hall while raising money for worthy community organizations. Thanks to all who participated. Another $4,500 was donated to community charities, bringing the total for the past 5 years to $30,000! A Troy Record Readers Choice for “Best Dance Studio.” We are now entering our 46th year! We have qualified professional teachers with years of training and experience. Spendwood has a long tradition of high professional standards, individual attention for every student, excellent trained teaching staff and a fantastic facility and off street parking. Our teachers have trained in Boston and New York. We continue to travel to New York City and bring NYC Broadway talent to our studio for master classes for our students and teachers.

We have classes for children and classes for adults. Students are placed in classes of the same age and ability. Viewing of classes allows parents to see progress. "Mommy and Me" Gymnastics starts at 18 months old. Dance students start at two and gymnasts at three years old. We have all ages, including babies, teens, youth and adults all in their own classes.

Community Events:

We want to thank all of our students and parents who participated in and supported Holiday Magic. Together over the past 6 years we have raised over $30,000. This year we supported Clothe-A-Child, Cohoes Music Hall, Cohoes Waterford Elks and the Cohoes Firefighters for their Children's Cheer program. Together we have made a difference.

Spendwood Dancers shine on The Cohoes Music Hall stage:

We are very proud of all of our students participating in recent Cohoes Music Hall productions, including Chorus Line, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Sound of Music, The High School Musical and the upcoming shows The Wizard of Oz and Footloose. We are also proud of so many of our students attending various colleges all over the United Stated, many participating in dance and theatre programs.

Annual Dance Recital:

We expect the annual dance recital will be on June 4th, June 5th and June 6th. Details to be determined.

Annual In-House Gym Meet:

The year end in-house gymnastics meet will be the end of May at Spendwood, 50 Johnston Ave., Cohoes, NY 12047. Details to be determined.

Directions to Spendwood (Get driving directions):

From 787 heading North - Turn left on Ontario Street - Go about one mile - Turn Right on High Street and an immediate Right on Garner Street - We are at the top of the hill at the corner of Garner and Johnston.

From Route 9 in Latham - Go East on 9R to Cohoes - At the third traffic light turn Left at Maggie’s Pub - Go to the stop sign and turn Right onto Johnston Avenue - We will be on your right, just past the first traffic light.
